The 15th Asia Championships 2007 made
history. Never before have been more countries competing in this event and for
the first time China and Taiwan were represented. The team titles were split
between the two leading countries with Japan winning the ladies title and Korea
winning the mens team competition.

Samantha Salas wins

The Kyung jae Newspaper Korean
National Racquetball Tournament is more and more becoming an international event. Over the past
two years international players have won singles titles. This year was no
different as Samantha Salas from Mexico won the 2007 Women’s Open title. The
Korean Racquetball Federation hopes to continue to attract a diverse
international field in future years.

The Asia Open in Fukuoka, Japan
were another very successful tournament with many great players and
performances. Park Min Soo (Korea) defeated Lee Sang Soo (Korea) 10-11, 11-4,
11-9 in the Mens final, while Japan's Ayako Tsuruta defeated Lee Young Mi
(Korea) 11-3, 11-5 in the Ladies Singles Final. |

EACH COUNTRY MAY ENTER MEN AND WOMEN'S TEAMS
* no limitation on number of teams per country
Players names and divisions must be submitted to ARF
no later than November 15th as required by the ARF
regulation.
Entry fee : $40US per each player
Security : All venues and events will have normal
security precautions
Practice Times will be granted on first come first
serve basis.

2005 Korea National Single Open (4.22-24) |

The 1st Korea National Single Open,
sponsored by Seoul Economic Newspaper will be held on April 22-24, 2005 in
Seoul, South Korea. This is a very significant tournament as it will be the
first time since the Worlds 2005 in Korea that the sport will receive widespread
media coverage. This is an opportunity to increase public awarness and
popularity of racquetball in Korea. Check out the tournament informatio below

2004 Racquetball Instructor Class (11.13-14) |
|
|
|
2004 racquetball instructor class was opened in Ansan Worldsportion during 11.13
and 14. Totally 50 instructors in national wide showed a hot participation and
proved racquetball was one of the most developing sport in Korea.
In the last day, the instructors, Lee Sang Soo, Lee Sung Won and
Shin Seong Ha and vice president of KRF, Kim Kwang Sep evaluated all
participants and awarded the qualification of instructor for those who passed
the evaluation.
